Getting to Know the Teacher
Ling Luo
A native from China, who emigrated to New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University, Ling Luo is a passionate, talented, well rounded teacher. She is dedicated to her students and always willing to share a smile and her enthusiasm for the Chinese language and culture. Her goal is to ensure that your little one truly enjoy learning Chinese.
Ling has hand-tailored her teaching style to suit different levels of learning.
- To engage her youngest learners' sense of adventure and possibility, Ling uses an active and visual teaching style incorporating costumes, fairy tales, animated films, and music & songs.
- Advanced classes are craft-driven and hands-on. For her older learners, Ling include fun activities that encourage participation such as game-playing, role-playing, computer presentations, educational software, movie clips, poem reading & story telling, and quizzes.
- Interesting homework will be given to intermediate and advanced classes to reinforce students' learning between sessions.
Intelligent, charismatic and patient, Ling is ready to introduce your youngster to a world of fun and discovery. Whether your child is new to the language, or grew up in a half-Chinese household, Ling will make learning an exciting, challenging and fun process to her.
